Membership
Seattle Travel Bloggers is a diverse community of new media enthusiasts and travel experts. We believe that labels and categories serve to divide rather than unite, and instead choose to embrace and respect the diversity of our travel community.
Membership in Seattle Travel Bloggers is by application only. All members shall comply with the policies and guidelines of the group as may be established.
There are four membership levels:
- Primary: Open to anyone who blogs or writes about travel (in any medium), travel photographers, etc. You must live, work, and/or have a home base of operation in the greater Seattle area. The Blogger membership level is the primary membership and will receive all group benefits.
- Associate: Open to professionals in the Travel Industry, Public Relations & Media. The Industry membership level receives most group membership benefits except those designated for primary members only.
- Supporter: Open to out-of-area travel bloggers and writers as well as friends and supporters of the group. The Supporter membership level will receive most group membership benefits except those designated for Primary members only.
- Student: Open to anyone 18 years of age or older who is enrolled full time in a school curriculum. The Student membership level will receive most group membership benefits except those designated for Primary or Associate members only.
The current membership fee is FREE. The current annual dues are FREE. Membership fees and dues are subject to change. (This isn’t a money making endeavor, but if we need some we reserve the right to raise it.) We reserve the right to terminate the membership status of any member at any time. (We probably won’t need to, but need to protect ourselves should a serious situation develop.)
